Circle Surround II™ Technology

SRS Circle Surround II™ (CS II) is an advanced surround sound decoder that enables full multichannel surround sound (up to 6.1 channels) from surround encoded (Lt/Rt) and Circle Surround-encoded material. CS II is also backward compatible with mono, stereo and most matrix decoders.

Circle Surround II is the ideal surround solution for consumer electronics manufacturers. This versatile technology provides the industry’s widest sweet spot, full-bandwidth rear channel surround sound and incredibly smooth steering. CS II also features two patented SRS post processing technologies; Dialog Clarity for clearer vocal intelligibility and TruBass for improved low frequency response.

CS II is perfect for Home Theater, Automotive, and PC environments because it is extremely forgiving regarding speaker placement and listener location.
