Account Executives and Senior Account Executives

 

Location:

Netherlands, UK or Spain

Reporting Relationship:
Typically reports to the Regional Sales Director

General Job Description :

  • Manage, direct and develop business in targeted accounts across assigned territory
  • Develop multi-level relationships within customer as needed to promote IP solutions and business success
  • Work with cross functional teams to support customers
  • Build partnerships and create synergy with existing Global Sales team members in support of common customers and shared world wide markets
  • Work proactively with Strategic Platform Partner Sales to ensure speedy and successful integration of SRS technology into the customer base
  • Explore and develop new customers and new markets as required to strengthen and grow business success
  • Ability to travel to support customers as required (maybe greater than 50% of time depending on geographic location)
  • Strong grasp of the audio market and CE industry trends

Experience and Professional Skills:

 
  • Ability to work at all levels of management with customer (Technical, Marketing, and Finance)
  • Strong aptitude for learning and creativity
  • Robust sales skills and ability to relate features to key benefits of customer
  • Consumer Electronics (direct Sales) experience (preferred markets:  Home Entertainment, Automotive, Personal Computer, Handheld devices (MP3, Cellular Phone, Personal Media Player))
  • Software, Chip or IP sales background (required)
  • Major account management experience (a plus)
  • Self motivated and driven to meet sales expectations and customer needs
  • Experience in working with multi-national CE companies
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to create compelling messaging to drive customer interest
  • Some level of marketing background (a plus)
  • Competency in software tools (WORD, EXCEL, etc
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Clear and precise writing and oral skills
 

Education:

 
  • Engineering Degree or Technical Equivalent   (MBA a plus)
  • 5 or more years direct sales experience
